Talking in a recent interview, Karishma Tanna said, ‘When I was born, my father did not see my face for a whole month. My mother told me about this. This was because my father wanted a son who could take his family forward and earn more money than him. I belong to a Gujarati typical family. My mother had two daughters. Because of this, my grandfather used to give us second hand treatment.

Continuing her talk, Karishma Tanna further said, ‘All these things made me very strong. After this I decided that I will show them that whatever a boy can do, a girl can do the same. When I came to know about this, I told my father that what you expect from a son. I will do all that and become a son of yours. After this, I did the same and showed it.
