‘1000 years of history has disappeared’, Pakistani public lashed out at those who wrote history of Pakistan

Khwaja Jamshed Imam, who has knowledge of history, talked about the history of Pakistan and India, Bhagat Singh. He said that he considers Bhagat Singh as his hero. He said that the real heroes are those who are sons of the land or soul of the land. Hindu ruler Raja Dahir is the hero of Sindh. People there still believe in him. Shaheed Bhagat Singh is a hero, he is the hero of Punjab. Our hero is King Porus, who gave a tough time to Alexander.

While talking to Pakistani YouTuber Sohaib Chaudhary, Khwaja Jamshed Imam said that the problem came in the history of Pakistan when after the death of Mohammad Ali Jinnah on 14 August 1947, Pakistan came under the control of Liaquat Ali and an objective resolution was passed to decide whether Why was Pakistan created? He said that when the research started, he got the princely states to accept Islam. Princely states do not have religions.

Referring to Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s first speech of August 11, 1947, Khwaja Jamshed Imam asked them to listen, in which he was saying that religion has no meaning in it. When you got the state to accept Islam, then you had to create a similar population. Such a mindset also had to be created and the government creates that through the school syllabus.

He said, ‘I remember when I was young, the history I read started from Chandragupta Maurya. There was mention of Emperor Ashoka in it, but when we reached matriculation, the date started from Sikandar-e-Azam and then from 326 AD of Sikandar, it directly came to Mohammad Bin Qasim in 712 AD and 1000 years were missing. Khwaja Jamshed Imam said that in those thousand years there was no Islam and Muslims, hence that history was removed. Ashoka and Chandragupta are not there in the history books available today. Earlier it was because Bangladesh was together, many Hindus lived there and Sindh was also together with Hindus.

Regarding Maulana Tariq Jameel, he said that if Mufti Saheb is calling himself Chauhan then he is related to Prithviraj Chauhan. So Prithviraj Chauhan was not a Muslim. I also declare that I belong to Brahmin caste. I am proud of this, how can we forget our history. He said, ‘If my ancestors accepted Islam in 1702, weren’t there humans on the land before 1702? Changing religion does not end property rights. Pakistan says that because your religion is different and this is an Islamic state, therefore I have more rights, no. You cannot differentiate between the education and health of two children.

He told how the history of Pakistan was converted into books. He said that during the time of Zulfikar Bhutto, when the government made the Constitution, it included in 1973 that the Head of the State and the Prime Minister cannot be a non-Muslim. In 1974, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto got the education policy approved and included in it that teaching of Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies is compulsory. He further said that after Bhutto’s death in July 1977, Ziaul Haq taught Islam as per his wish and the history of Pakistan as per his wish, due to which the ideology of many people became the same.
