Bagarji police said that 4 people of one group lost their lives in the violence, while one person of the other group died. Of these, three people died on the spot, one died during treatment. According to the police, 3 people had died in the dispute here earlier also. At the same time, in another incident, there was a clash between 2 tribes over land in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district. In this too 5 people lost their lives.

The brother shot his sister after she failed in the ninth class examination. Police officials said that the accused fled from the spot. Authorities have launched a search operation to arrest the suspect and registered a case on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother. In a separate incident in Kabirwala, Punjab, a step-son killed his two step-brothers after a marital dispute. The suspect, Munir Ahmed, allegedly shot one brother and stabbed the other to death.
