CENTCOM said the Strait of Hormuz is still open to commercial shipping despite Iranian aggression. On the other hand, according to Iran’s government broadcaster IRIB, after the US action started, air strikes were carried out in many areas of Iran. The reports said the airstrikes took place in Chawar and Abdanan areas of Ilam province. The governor of Abadanan also confirmed that the Dinarkoh area of ​​the district was targeted.

Iran admitted that many cities of the country were attacked

According to IRIB, there was also an attack on the outskirts of the city of Baneh in Kurdistan province, which it described as an ‘enemy attack’. Meanwhile, officials of the Lieutenant Governor in Hamdan province said that Kabudar Ahang County was targeted as part of America’s continuous ‘aggressive action’. The report also said explosions were heard in Mahshahr in Khuzestan province and Tabriz city in East Azerbaijan province.
