UK News: In Leicestershire, UK, an 80-year-old man who had gone to walk his dog was attacked by a group of children, which led to his death. Family members said that the attacking children kicked the old man in the neck and injured his spine, due to which he died in the hospital. Leicestershire Police had detained a 14-year-old boy and a girl, a 12-year-old boy and two girls on the basis of suspicion, out of which the 14-year-old boy is still in police custody, the other four have been released by the police without taking any action and investigation has started.
Mirror reports that 80-year-old Bhim Sen Kohli went to walk his dog in Franklin Park in Brownstone Town at around 6.30 pm, when he was attacked by a group of children at the park gate. The report states that these children were quite mischievous, they had earlier spat on the old man. Police were also informed about this incident. After this attack, he was admitted to the hospital before the emergency service arrived, but he died."text-align: justify;">What did the neighbours of the deceased say?
Deep Kaila, a neighbour of the deceased, told Mirror that he knew the old man for 35 years and he was his good friend. He said, ‘His family is devastated after this incident. He was a slim, healthy man and lived in an allotted house. He has two sons and a daughter, all of whom are grown up. He also has two grandchildren. He also has a factory in Leicester making jumpers and cardigans, but he had stopped going to work now.’
The old man was living in the allotted house for 40 years
Before dying, Kohli told his daughter Leicester Mercury that ‘he was going to walk the dog, when the accused pushed him, then attacked him with kicks on the neck and spine. He was just 30 seconds away from the house.’ It is being told that he was living here for the last 40 years, he has three allotted houses. Another neighbor told that after hearing the noise, he went to the spot, he was pushed violently and he was suffering from pain. After this incident, the family members are crying badly.

Senior investigating officer of Leicestershire Police, Detective Inspector Emma Mats, said that this is a very sad incident. After the death of the victim last night, it has become a matter of murder investigation. She said that the police is gathering information in the case, several people have been arrested. Visibility has been increased in the park and police are patrolling the area.
