The Government of Canada announced the end of the program on its website, saying the decision was taken to “strengthen the program, increase student safety, and provide equal opportunities.” It was informed that all the applications received till 2 pm (ET) on November 8 will be processed under this scheme. At the same time, all subsequent applications will be processed under the regular study permit stream process only.
