According to news agency PTI, a police officer posted in Faisalabad said that the Sikh woman is a resident of Nankana Sahib. She was held hostage by two brothers. Both have been identified as Khurram Shahzad and Qij Shahzad. Both of them raped her in turns for 9 months. It was told that the woman was divorced. A friend of hers had introduced her to Khurram a few years ago. Police officer Zainab said that in December last year, she had asked Khurram to drop her minor son from Nankana Sahib to his sister’s house in Faisalabad, but he held the boy hostage. The accused forced the woman to come to his house. Here both of them were held hostage and the brother was continuously raped for 9 months.

Police raided on 14 August
Police said that investigation was started on the complaint of the woman’s relative. On August 14, police raided Khurram’s house and rescued him and his son. The police team has also arrested both the accused. The woman said that she was tortured for resisting the rape.
