Bomb blast in Pakistan, 5 children including 1 policeman killed, 22 people injured

Remote Blast in South West Pakistan: A bomb exploded in the south-western region of Pakistan on Friday (November 1), in which 7 people including 5 school children and a policeman were killed and 22 others were injured. Most of the injured include school children. The attack was carried out with a remote controlled bomb, which exploded near Civil Hospital Chowk in Balochistan province of southern Pakistan.

According to police, a remote-controlled blast targeted a police van at 8.35 am near a high school at Civil Hospital Chowk in Mastung district of restive Balochistan province. At present the matter is being investigated.

Seven people have died so far

Kalat Division Commissioner Naeem Bazai said, “An IED (improvised explosive device) was used in the blast, its target was a police vehicle parked near the school. So far seven people have died, including five school students.” are also included.” At least 22 people have been injured in the attack. In such a situation, there is a possibility of the death toll increasing. At present the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital, where they are being treated.”

Emergency declared in all hospitals of Quetta

According to Geo News report, most of the injured were school children, they have been admitted to a nearby hospital. A police van and several auto-rickshaws were damaged in the blast. Quoting a health department spokesperson, the report said that following the blast, an emergency has been declared in all hospitals of Quetta, and all doctors, pharmacists, staff nurses and other medical staff have been called.
