Bangladesh Violence: China on Tuesday gave a very cautious response to the developments in Bangladesh, saying that it is closely monitoring the situation in the violence-hit country. In response to media questions, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said, “China is closely monitoring the developments in Bangladesh.”
“As a friendly neighbour and comprehensive strategic partner of Bangladesh, China sincerely hopes that social stability will be restored in the country at an early date,” the ministry said. Bangladesh has been mired in uncertainty following massive protests over job reservations, which forced Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to resign and leave the country.
21 agreements were signed a month ago
Hasina visited Beijing just a month ago. During her visit, Bangladesh and China elevated their bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. Hasina visited China from July 8 to 10. During this visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang held talks with her and the two countries signed 21 agreements. During their meeting, Xi said that the two countries have elevated their relations to the level of “comprehensive strategic partnership”.
Sleeper cell was being created in the name of studies

Let us tell you that Pakistan was sending funds to people in Bangladesh in the name of studies. In the name of studies, China was creating a network of Bangladeshi students and China is also involved in making students sleeper cells.
