Crew-9 team reaches space station to bring back Sunita Williams, don’t know when will she come back to earth

Sunita Williams In Space : Since June, NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have been stranded in the International Space Station (ISS). NASA is continuously working to bring both the astronauts back to Earth. In this episode, the spacecraft that brought back both the astronauts has reached space. NASA and SpaceX’s Crew-9 have reached the International Space Station through Dragon capsule. This team includes NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Alexander Gorbunov of the Russian space agency Roscosmos.

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore reached space in June 2024 via Boeing Starliner spacecraft. Now Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are very happy with the arrival of Crew-9, and its video has also surfaced.

SpaceX’s Crew-9 welcomed on ISS

SpaceX Crew-9 was welcomed when it reached the International Space Station. SpaceX launched this mission on Saturday. According to the information given by NASA, astronauts Nick Hague and Alexander Gorbunov entered the space station at 7:04 pm. The two were welcomed by the space station’s Expedition 72 crew, which included Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, along with astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barrett, Jeanette Epps, Don Petit, Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexander Grebenkin, Alexey Ovchinin and Ivan Wagner.

When will Sunita Williams return to earth?

According to the information, Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will formally continue their work till February 2025. He will then return to Earth aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft along with two other crew members assigned to the agency’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission. Apart from this, Sunita and Wilmore are continuously sharing their experiences from the space station. Sunita, who is living in space, has told that she is missing her two dogs, friends and family a lot.
