Cruelty crossed all limits! When villagers protested against the rape of women, they were fired upon

Sudan News: A village in the African country Sudan has witnessed such a bloody conflict that you will be shocked to know about it. The fighters of Sudan’s paramilitary group first looted a village and then set it on fire. 85 people have died in this attack. Innocent children and women are also among the dead. According to the news agency AP, this is the latest attack in the conflict that has been going on in Sudan for 18 months. The kind of horror that has been committed here is soul-stirring.

Rapid Support Force (RSF) fighters have been attacking a village called Galgani since July. A few days ago, fighters entered this village in Sennar province and tried to rape women and children. When the local people protested, the unarmed villagers were fired upon. Sudan’s Foreign Ministry has said that more than 150 villagers have been injured in this attack. Since April last year, RSF fighters have committed crimes like massacre and rape across the country.

The fighters first fled after people protested, then returned and attacked

Three people who witnessed the carnage in the village said that the RSF fighters attacked for three hours. Houses, shops and government offices were looted and burnt. A healthcare worker working at the local medical centre said that initially a small number of fighters had come, but then when people protested, they returned. Another healthcare worker said that a few hours later, hundreds of RSF fighters entered the village in dozens of pickup trucks and killed people.

More than ten million people displaced in Sudan

Thousands of people have died so far in the ongoing conflict in Sudan. Situations of famine have also arisen in the country. During the conflict between the paramilitary forces and the army, a large number of women have been raped and attempts have been made to wipe out certain tribal people. Due to the conflict in Sudan, more than one crore people have had to flee their homes. Not only this, but more than 20 lakh people have taken refuge in neighboring countries to save their lives.
