US Donald Trump: Donald Trump recently announced that he will not include former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in his new administration after returning to the White House in 2025. Trump shared this on his social media platform Truth Social, in which he said that he does not intend to include Haley and Pompeo in his future administration due to their competition for the GOP nomination and disagreements among MAGA supporters. Trump’s announcement came after his victory to become President for the second time, in which he defeated his Democratic rival Kamala Harris.
Haley and Trump have had a tumultuous relationship over the years. Haley competed against Trump during the GOP primary. However, before the election, Haley wrote in his support that Trump is a better option than Harris. After this his differences with Trump became public. Similarly, Mike Pompeo also endorsed Trump, but many MAGA supporters questioned the lack of strength in his support.
