Iran Latest News: Iran is furious after four countries including the US have imposed fresh sanctions on it. Iran’s Foreign Minister Sayyed Abbas Araghchi has strongly criticized the new sanctions imposed by Western countries on Tehran (Iran’s capital). He clearly warned that no country can impose its personal intentions on them.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with news agency IRIB, “Western countries should know and it is surprising that they still do not know that sanctions are a failed ploy. They will not be able to impose their intentions on Iran through sanctions, whether it is on nuclear issues or in relation to other countries.”
“Iran will continue to move forward with strength”
Meanwhile, news agency Xinhua quoted Sayyed Abbas Araghchi as saying that Iran will continue to move forward on the path with strength. However, his country will always keep the path open for talks. The path of dialogue has never been abandoned, but such a diplomatic process should be based on mutual respect.
What is the allegation against Iran that has caused uproar?
On the other hand, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasir Kanani informed on Saturday that any claim about Iran’s sale of ballistic missiles to Russia is baseless. Actually, Iran is accused of selling ballistic missiles to Russia. Iran condemned the allegations of Western countries, which claimed that Iran has supplied short-range missiles to Russia for use against Ukraine. By the way, earlier on Wednesday, the Foreign Minister there had said that Iran has not delivered ballistic missiles to Russia. America and its allies are working on wrong intelligence.
…so these countries have imposed new sanctions on Iran
Last Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasir Kanani described the sanctions imposed by Britain, France and Germany as economic terrorism against the people of Iran. He warned that the three European countries will face appropriate action. The US, France, Britain and Germany have imposed new sanctions on Iran.
