Lebanese President will meet Trump, talks will be held amid tension with Israel

According to the US State Department, talks between Israel and Lebanon were successful and both sides agreed to the framework and guidelines of the pilot zone process.

At present, the US State Department announced on Monday that operations have started in three villages under the “Pilot Zone”, although no information was given about what is included in it. These three villages – Fraun, Shrifa and Jawtar al-Gharbih – are not under the control of Israeli forces. After this announcement, no statement was immediately issued by Lebanon or Israel’s military and political leadership.
