Israel–Hezbollah War: The tension between Israel and Hezbollah in the Middle East is increasing day by day. Meanwhile, on Sunday (22 September 2024), Lebanon fired more than 100 missiles on Israel. According to Al Jazeera’s report, the IDF said that after this attack by Hezbollah, schools in northern Israel had to be closed, while millions of people had to take shelter.
Military airport targeted
The Israeli army has also banned large celebrations in northern Israel, including the country’s third largest city Haifa. According to reports, there are no reports of casualties or any significant damage from the rocket attacks in Israel on Sunday. According to Israeli media, Hezbollah targeted a military airport located in the northern region of Israel. With this attack, sirens started ringing throughout the region and in various areas of the occupied Golan Heights and Upper Galilee. Many buildings were damaged and cars caught fire due to this attack.
Israel warns Hezbollah
According to Al Jazeera’s report, earlier on Saturday (September 21, 2024), the Israeli army said that it carried out hundreds of airstrikes in southern Lebanon. The IDF also claimed to have attacked 110 other places in Lebanon on Sunday morning. Apart from this, on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted that his army carried out several attacks against Hezbollah.

Prime Minister Netanyahu warned Hezbollah that Tel Aviv had attacked Hezbollah in Lebanon in recent days in a way it could not even imagine. Meanwhile, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant vowed that Israel’s attack against Hezbollah would continue until the residents of northern Israel returned home safely.
