However, this is 4 hours more than the previous rule of 20 hours, but these rules were abolished during the Corona period. Issuing a press release in the month of April, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship of Canada said, we have observed that foreign students work more while studying in Canada. Due to this, their academic results are not good. After this change, the educational quality of foreign students will improve.

What did the Canadian minister say?
The Canadian government is currently trying to reduce not just student immigration but any kind of immigration. This is confirmed by the statements of Canada’s Immigration Minister Mark Miller. According to a report by India Today, Miller said in a recent statement that ‘Canada’s rules need to be streamlined. Our rules are attracting people, we are seeing that the purpose of students coming here is to work and not to study.

The biggest problem faced by Indian students
Many young people who went to Canada to study from India are dependent on off-campus jobs to meet their expenses. India Today’s report states that most of the shifts in Canada are standard. In such a situation, Indian students will now be able to work only three shifts in Canada. The minimum wage in Canada is 17.36 Canadian dollars (1078 rupees) per hour. The skyrocketing prices of rental houses in Canada have already troubled Indian students. Now after the decrease in income, more problems are bound to arise.
