Norway’s princess is going to marry a magician who claims that he ‘came alive after dying’

Norway Princess Marriage: Norway’s Princess Martha Louise is set to marry a self-proclaimed magician this weekend who claims to have come back to life from the dead. Princess Louise and her American fiancé Durek Verret will marry in a private ceremony in Geiranger, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning fjords.

The events for the wedding of the princess and the magician have begun, according to the report of NDTV, the event began with a ‘meet and greet’ at a historic hotel in Alesund. Hundreds of guests, including members of the Swedish royal family and American TV celebrities, attended the event. The wedding program includes a beautiful boat trip along the fjord to Geiranger, during which the two will tie the knot. That is, the main event of the wedding will take place on the boat.

The story of Veret’s death and coming back to life
Princess Martha Louise is the eldest child of Norway’s King Harald V and was once a competitive equestrian. On the other hand, 49-year-old Verret is a Hollywood spiritual guru and describes himself as a magician. Durek told Vanity Fair in an interview in 2020 that he had experienced many things during his life when he died at the age of 28. After being revived, he spent two months in a coma and eight years on dialysis, until his sister donated a kidney in 2012. Verret believes that to recover he needed to think with his ‘huge soul’ instead of his ‘limited brain’.

Verret is an African-American spiritual advisor who counts celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Antonio Banderas among his followers. He claims that cancer can be cured through the human brain. On his own website, he has described himself as a magician. At present, there are many media reports against these claims of Verret, in which he has been called a fraud and a hypocrite. Martha Louise and Durek Verret announced their engagement in June 2022, now both are getting married.
