He then used the money to buy an Extreme Cashword lottery ticket from the Sun Farms store in Elizabeth City, winning a scratch-off lottery prize of $150,000 (approximately ₹1.26 crore). Roy Story’s happiness knew no bounds after winning the huge prize money.

Roy Story said that I grow some pumpkins every year and sell them. Someone gave me $10 for a pumpkin and I bought a ticket from him. Storey initially did not realize how big a prize he had won.
