Russia’s major attack on Ukraine, fired two ballistic missiles, 41 killed and more than 180 injured

The number of dead and injured is expected to increase. President Zelensky informed that many people are still buried under the rubble. It was told that relief and rescue operations are being carried out on a war footing. Information has also been given about many people being rescued from the rubble.

Who were targeted by the missiles?

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry informed that two Russian ballistic missiles targeted a hospital and an educational institution. It informed that the attack was so severe that a building of the educational institution was destroyed. The Defense Ministry said, ‘People were forced to take refuge in shelters in a hurry.’

President Zelensky posted a video message

of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky released a video message on the social media platform X. Zelensky said, ‘Information has been received about a Russian attack in Poltava. An educational institution and a hospital have been targeted. People were buried under the rubble. Many people have been rescued, more than 180 people are injured. I express my deepest condolences to the relatives and family members of the families of the 41 people killed. Orders have been given for a quick investigation of the situation.’

‘Russia will have to pay the price’

President Zelensky said, ‘I am grateful to the people who have been helping and saving lives since the attack. Russia will have to pay the price for this attack. I urge all those in the world who have the power to stop this terror.’ Zelensky appealed and said that Ukraine needs air defense systems and missiles, delay will mean more deaths.
