Internet and mobile networks have been shut down in Bangladesh at this time, curfew is imposed across the country.

Recently, there was a lot of uproar in Bangladesh regarding reservation, which was ended by the Supreme Court there. Now the protesters are demanding the resignation of the government over the uproar on the issue of reservation in government jobs. On Sunday, the protesters had come to participate in the non-cooperation program under the banner of Students Against Discrimination. Workers of Awami League, Chhatra League and Jubo League opposed them and a clash took place between the two sides.

According to the Prothom Alo newspaper, at least 100 people lost their lives in the clashes, firing and counter-attacks that took place across the country due to the non-cooperation movement. 14 policemen are reported to have been killed among them. Curfew was imposed in the country from Sunday evening in view of the uproar. Internet and mobile services have also been shut down. According to the report, the army chief said that now there will be no firing from the army. He also said that if the change of power happens in an undemocratic manner, then Bangladesh will become like Kenya.
