Giving information about the incident, Israeli police described it as an attack and said that the attacker is an Arab citizen. Police said that the collision took place near the headquarters of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency. The truck reportedly collided with a bus at a stop in the city of Ramat Hasharon, northeast of Tel Aviv, as Israelis were returning to work after a week’s vacation. During this collision some people got trapped under the vehicles. In addition to being near the Mossad headquarters and a military base, the bus stop is also close to a central highway junction.

The condition of six of the injured is critical

While giving information about the incident, Israel’s Magen David Adom Rescue Service said that the condition of six of the injured is critical. Israeli police spokesman ASI Aharoni told reporters that the attacker had been “neutralized.” However, it was not said whether the attacker was killed or not.
