The former Prime Minister said that a lawyer has been murdered in Chittagong, this murder is being strongly protested. The people involved in this murder should be found and punished as soon as possible. This incident has caused gross violation of human rights. A lawyer had gone to perform his professional duties and he was beaten to death by terrorists. Whoever they are, they should be punished.
He said that a top leader of the Sanatan Dharma community has been unjustly arrested and he should be released immediately. A temple has been burnt in Chittagong. Earlier, mosques, dargahs, churches, monasteries and houses of the Ahmadiyya community were attacked, vandalized, looted and set on fire. Religious freedom and security of life and property should be ensured for people of all communities.
