Violent clash after attack on 3 temples in Chittagong, Bangladesh

Attacks on Hindu Temples in Chittagong: There is no change in the condition of Hindus in India’s neighboring country Bangladesh. They are being continuously tortured. Amid atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, three Hindu temples in Chittagong were targeted on Tuesday (26 November). After which the ongoing clash in Bangladesh took a violent form. It is noteworthy that the three temples that have been targeted include Loknath Temple in Firangi Bazaar, Mansa Mata Temple and Kali Mata Temple in Hazari Lane. Let us tell you that this incident is part of the violence against Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh, which has increased to an extremely dangerous level since the overthrow of the then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on August 5.

Peaceful demonstration in response to organized attacks by Islamic fundamentalists

Recent protests against other minorities, including Hindus, began when Hindus launched large, peaceful protests in response to organized attacks by Islamic fundamentalists. These protests were organized by the religious and social organization ISKCON, whose followers are spread across the world. In view of this protest, prominent Hindu leader and ISKCON monk Chinmay Krishna Das was detained at Dhaka airport on Monday (25 November).

Continuous attacks on Hindu minorities

The Bangladesh Army attacked a peaceful protest by Hindu minorities in Thakurgaon, Bangladesh. This demonstration was being held for the release of Chinmayanand Das. Meanwhile, ISKCON Bangladesh has condemned the detention of Chinmoy Krishna Das. He has said that he strongly condemns the violence being carried out against followers of Sanatani religions in different areas of Bangladesh.
