The Bangladesh Army attacked a peaceful protest by Hindu minorities in Thakurgaon, Bangladesh. This demonstration was being held for the release of Chinmayanand Das. Meanwhile, ISKCON Bangladesh has condemned the detention of Chinmoy Krishna Das. He has said that he strongly condemns the violence being carried out against followers of Sanatani religions in different areas of Bangladesh.
