Where and why is Israel attacking in Lebanon?

Britain condemns
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy condemned Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel over the past 11 months and reiterated that these attacks cannot be justified and have caused misery for ordinary people in Lebanon and Israel.
In a message to Iran, Lamy said that supplying weapons to terrorist organizations in violation of the United Nations cannot be justified in any way. He requested Tehran to use its influence on Hezbollah to persuade it to agree to a ceasefire agreement.
“This is the most dangerous moment. We are on the brink. The situation is dangerous. A few minutes before midnight. We talk about the risk of a full-blown war at a regional level, but the truth is that we are already seeing conflict on several fronts,” Lamy said.
