When France showed its attitude, Israeli PM Netanyahu got angry and said, ‘We will win even without your help’

Israel-Iran Conflict: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly criticized French President Emmanuel Macron. In a radio interview, Macron called for a halt to arms supplies to Israel and said all “civilized” countries must stand firm.

PM Netanyahu called it shameful. Questioned whether, like him, Iran is imposing an arms embargo on Hezbollah, Houthi, Hamas and its allies? “Macron and other Western leaders are now demanding an arms embargo against Israel,” Netanyahu said in a video message on Saturday (October 5). He said Israel would win with or without their support.

‘His embarrassment will last for a long time’

The Israeli PM said in strong words, “But even after winning the war, their embarrassment will continue for a long time.” Netanyahu said Israel is today defending itself on seven fronts against “enemies of civilization.”

He further said, “Is Iran imposing an arms embargo on Hezbollah, Houthi, Hamas and its other allies? Absolutely not. They all stand together. But countries that allegedly oppose these terrorist organizations are imposing arms embargo on Israel. Call for ban.”

‘Israel is destroying Hezbollah’s tunnels’

Netanyahu claimed that Israeli forces had destroyed a significant part of Hezbollah’s missile and rocket capabilities. He said that the Israeli army is destroying the tunnel system of the Lebanese group near the border. “Although the threat has not completely ended, we have changed the balance of the conflict.”

“About a month ago, as we neared the end of destroying Hamas battalions in Gaza, we began to fulfill the promise we made to the residents of northern Israel,” he said. Since September 23, Israeli forces have intensified their airstrikes against Hezbollah across Lebanon, resulting in numerous civilian casualties and the displacement of residents from several areas.

Key Hezbollah leaders, including the group’s Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, were also targeted and killed in the airstrikes. Additionally, Israel has launched a “limited” ground campaign in Lebanon.
