Boris Johnson On PM Modi: Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in his book ‘Unleashed’ Narendra Modi Has been praised. Referring to his first meeting with PM Modi, he has written that he has a different kind of supernatural energy. Former Indian Ambassador Ashok Sajjanhar has reacted to this. He said that Boris Johnson has mentioned many things about PM Modi in his book. Ashok Sajjanhar said while talking to IANS that Boris Johnson has also mentioned about his visit to India in ‘Unleashed’. He has told that when Johnson came to India, he was very eager to meet PM Modi. Then his Foreign Ministry had refused to meet him.

British officials had told Boris Johnson regarding PM Modi that he is a Hindu nationalist. You should not meet them. Then he did not meet PM Modi. But later when he came and met PM Modi, he was quite impressed. Then he felt that he had some supernatural power. He said that after that we have seen that the relationship between PM Modi and PM Boris Johnson has become very good. Then there was a good discussion between the two on every issue. After that there was also talk on free trade agreement between the two countries. He announced that a free trade agreement would be signed. Then he became very positive about relations with India.

PM Modi’s role in Russia-Ukraine war
It was only after PM Modi had an influence on Boris Johnson that relations between the two countries warmed up rapidly. Senior journalist and geopolitical expert Fareed Zakaria said that PM Modi can play the role of a valuable mediator in the Russia-Ukraine war. On this the former ambassador said that Zakaria is absolutely right. There are only two people in the whole world who can talk to the leaders of both Russia and Ukraine. One is Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and the other is PM Modi. Apart from these two, there is no third big leader who can talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

PM Modi gave the slogan of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
Fareed Zakaria said that PM Modi always says that ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. If we look at Covid recently, PM Modi was praised all over the world. On this, the former ambassador said that PM Modi started with the slogan that the policies we will adopt in India will lead to development of all. But then he named these things as ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. It will be remembered that in the year 2014, when he went to the General Assembly of the United Nations for the first time, he had said in his speech that the basic essence of India is that we consider the whole world as one family. He said that when the time of Covid came So the developed countries did not give their developed vaccines to the developing countries. India gave about 30 crore doses to more than 100 countries – that too for free. Therefore, people all over the world who have taken the vaccine from India consider India as their strength. When India was vaccinating its citizens, India gave the vaccine to all these countries for free.

All countries want to be friends with India – former ambassador
Fareed Zakaria further said that PM Modi can play a constructive role on the global stage and leaders of big countries will also praise him. On this the former ambassador said that Zakaria has said the right thing. I believe that the wars that are taking place today on the global stage, especially in the countries of the South, are causing a lot of loss to those countries. In this era, India and PM Modi have become partners of choice. All countries want to make friendship with India. India has emerged as a world friend.
