Traders beat litchi businessman to death for not reducing Rs 10 in Hajipur

Hajipur: Dominant traders thrashed a litchi businessman to death (Hajipur News) on Tuesday evening in Godhia Litchi Mandi of Goraul police station area of ​​the district. It is being told that the domineering traders beat the young man to death in front of his father for not reducing the price of litchi by Rs 10. After this, the bullies threw his litchi on the road itself. After this incident, angry people blocked the Hajipur-Muzaffarpur main road by arson. At the same time, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

Litchi had reached the market from the garden

In relation to the incident, it is being told that Aditya Kumar, a litchi businessman, had reached Mandi to sell litchis from his garden along with his father. Litchi of other big traders were being bid in the market. When Aditya did not reduce the price of his litchi by Rs 10, there was a dispute between the businessman and the litchi businessman. The dispute escalated so much that 17-year-old Litchi businessman Aditya Kumar was beaten to death by the domineering traders. He was murdered in front of Aditya’s father. Aditya’s father took him to the hospital, but the doctors in the hospital declared him dead.

Police is investigating at every point – SDPO

Regarding this matter, SDPO Surbhi Suman told that there was a dispute between the litchi business and the traders in Mandi under Goraul police station area regarding the price. A 17-year-old youth has died in this fight. After the death, angry people blocked the road. The jam was removed with the help of the local people’s representative and the police force. At the same time, four to five litchi traders have been accused by the relatives of the deceased. In this matter, the police is investigating at every point. Further action will be taken after investigation.
