Arshad Nadeem has said that there are no good roads in his village, there is no electricity and people also crave for gas. He has urged the government to build a university and a stadium for the youth. Not only this, he has also raised the issue that it takes more than an hour by bus for the girls of his village to reach Multan for studies.

I dream of building a sports academy.

Arshad Nadeem’s father Mohammad Arshad had said that perhaps this gold medal win will help his son fulfill his dream. Nadeem’s dream is to build a sports academy in his village area. Let us tell you that Nadeem has earlier also raised his voice against the lack of sports facilities in Punjab province. He had told that being a javelin throw athlete, he had to face shortage of facilities, coaching and money.

On returning to Pakistan, Nadeem also thanked Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He told how he was first recognized as a javelin throw athlete in a sports event organized by Sharif. At that time Sharif used to be the Chief Minister of Punjab province.
