Railway Jobs: If you were waiting for the recruitment to the post of Technician in Railways, then this is important news for you. Railway Recruitment Board has invited application forms through online medium for 14000 posts of Technician in Railways. During this application process which started from 2nd October, candidates can apply online before 16th October by filling their information in the prescribed proforma. The application form can be filled on the official website of the board, rrbapply.gov.in.
The board had earlier also invited applications for these posts but the recruitment process was postponed midway. In such a situation, the Recruitment Board has clarified that the youth who had applied earlier will not need to apply again.
For how many posts is there recruitment?
This recruitment has been done for a total of 14298 vacant posts. In this, 1092 posts have been reserved for Technician Grade 1 Signal, 8052 posts for Technician Grade 3 and 5154 posts have been reserved for Workshop and PSU.
Keep these things in mind
The applying candidate must have passed 10th with ITI or B.Sc in related field or three years Polytechnic Diploma from a recognized board. Whereas on July 1, 2024, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 33 years. There will be a maximum age relaxation of 3 years for reserved category candidates.

How much application fee for whom?
Rs 500 to the applicants of General, OBC and EWS category for recruitment to the post of Technician. Will have to be deposited as fees. The application fee for SC, ST, physically handicapped and women candidates is Rs 250. It has been determined.

Applicants who have already applied can check the application status by logging in using their login details. Besides, they can also check the details given in the application form.
