Jharkhand Politics: Devendra Kunwar, the only BJP MLA from Jarmundi assembly from Santhal Pargana region in Jharkhand, has attacked the Hemant Soren government of the state. In a special conversation with ABP News, he made a serious allegation that without PC (bribe), no work of the public gets done in the state. In any work, first 45 percent PC has to be given.
The BJP MLA further said, “Not only this, for the ‘Abua Awas’ scheme made for the poor in the state, the first ten percent is charged for the geo tag to the beneficiaries. Those who do not give are left behind. In such a situation, removing the ongoing commissioneering is my main priority.”
Students’ education disrupted due to shortage of teachers – Devendra Kunwar
While talking to ABP News after the program in Nonihat, he made serious allegations against the present government. He also said, “Today, students’ education is disrupted due to acute shortage of teachers in the state. There is something wrong with the cycles being given in the name of education. A rusted bicycle gets spoiled within a few months and is making space in the dustbin.”
Government is not taking any concrete measures – BJP
He also made the allegation and said, “The tyres, rims and seats of the bicycles given by an anonymous company are made by companies with different names which prove their quality within a few months. Actually, out of 18 seats in Santhal Pargana, BJP has won only one seat, Jarmundi Assembly. After the victory, BJP MLA Devendra Kunwar held a conference with the party workers of his assembly for the first time at his residence in Nonihat and expressed his gratitude. Workers from booth level Panchayat to block level were invited to the conference, where they were thanked for their cooperation and also given a certificate on the victory in the elections.
During this, he said that today there is a severe lack of facilities like education, health, irrigation and employment in Santhal Pargana. I am the only MLA of BJP in Santhal. There is no government in my state but we will raise our voice from the streets to the House for the work of our people.
He also said, “This is the first such conference, not only in Jharkhand but in the entire country, which we have organized in the honor of our workers.” He said that my breath is for the public. We will work for them round the clock. This is just the beginning. Now there is one, then there will be many.”
