Talking about the first day collection of the film, according to the early trend report of SACNILC, ‘The Odyssey’ earned a net of Rs 17.40 crore from 8 thousand 413 shows on the first day of its release at the Indian box office, taking its total gross collection in India to Rs 20.76 crore.

On the basis of language, according to SACNILC, the English version of ‘The Odissi’ took the lead at the box office with earnings of Rs 13.75 crore (net), followed by the Hindi-dubbed version which earned Rs 1.90 crore on the opening day while the first day collection from the Telugu version was Rs 1.10 crore. Whereas the earning of Tamil version was Rs 65 lakh.
