Can AI take away the jobs of laborers too, know what experts say?

Today is Labor Day. In such a situation, today we will tell you whether AI can take away the jobs of workers? Also, what do experts say on this? Experts have slightly different opinions. He says that AI will not eliminate jobs completely, but will change the form of work. That means the same work, but a new method.

According to experts, the first impact is visible on those tasks which are repeated in the same way every day. Such as packaging, sorting goods, assembling parts on an assembly line or moving goods here and there in the warehouse. Now robots are doing this work quickly and without getting tired.

In construction and factory work, earlier entries were made on paper and reports were made. Now AI software does this work in a few seconds. The work of inspection is also changing. Earlier, workers used to look for faults with their eyes, but now cameras and AI detect faults very closely. At the same time, if we talk about laborers engaged in construction work, then not much impact of AI has been seen here. But in the coming time, construction work may increase with the help of AI.

Will workers become unemployed?

Experts say the picture is not so simple. The need for labor is not ending, rather its role is changing. Now the laborer will have to operate the machine, understand the signals received from AI, remove defective materials and monitor the machines. That means a little less hand work and a little more brain work.

Why will human needs continue?

Machine cannot do every work. Situations keep changing at the construction site many times. There is a need to take immediate decisions. Repairs, complex fittings, or work where intelligence and experience are required.

New jobs are also being created

While some work is being reduced, new work is also being created. Now the demand for people who can operate robots, repair them and understand software is increasing. Now roles like “Machine Operator” along with “AI Supervisor” have started appearing in the factory. This means that new paths are opening up for those who have learned a little technology. Experts say that workers should learn new skills. Short training courses, knowledge of machine operation, and digital understanding will keep them ahead.
