Can Pakistani students study in India, what is its process?

Can Pakistani Students Study In India: Although students from any country can come to our country to study, but when it comes to our neighbouring country Pakistan, things are different. Seeing the tension between India and Pakistan, the question arises whether students from there can come here to study? So the answer is yes, students from Pakistan can come to India to study. However, for this they have to prepare at many levels and also have to take permission.

Preparation has to be done at many levels

If Pakistani students want to come to India for studies, they have to complete many processes. The first among these is visa. Visa is the first condition for studying here. For this, they have to take permission from the Indian High Commission of Pakistan. This is the entire process in which candidates have to give their complete information in detail.

Along with this, after checking all the issues like where they want to take admission, whether the institute has accepted the admission, whether there are all the arrangements for paying the fees etc. and after thorough investigation, student visa is issued.

Permission has to be taken from the government there as well

If Pakistani students want to come to India for studies, then they have to get a No Objection Certificate from their country’s government. In most cases, this is not prohibited but it is necessary to inform the Pakistan government about this and take permission.

Eligibility and fees

One of the conditions for taking admission here is that you should fulfill the eligibility criteria of the institute or college or university in which you want to take admission or for that particular course. Along with this, the candidate also has to clear his financial background so that it can be clear that he is capable of paying the fees till the completion of the course.

Admission is available only here

Be it at school level or college level, Pakistani students can get admission only where there is a policy of admitting international students. Therefore, first find out the details of the place where you want to take admission. Not every college or school gives admission to outside students and Pakistani students also fall in this category. Along with this, they cannot get admission everywhere. For example, admission is not possible for Pakistani students in defense or strategic planning or related institutes.

Police Registration and Monitoring

This does not happen in all cases, but depending on the policies or rules of the city, college and the place where they are taking admission, Pakistani students sometimes have to register themselves with the local police authorities. This is also necessary for their safety. In some cases, they can be monitored by Indian authorities.

Clear background

For admission here, it is also important that the student’s background is clean. When it comes to Pakistani students, the Indian government’s rules and regulations are strict. Along with this, due to the tension between the two countries, such students may also face problems in traveling. Apply for admission only after considering all these issues.

Find out the details from here

If you want to come to India for studies, then get details from the Indian High Commission in Pakistan, the Education Department of the Pakistan Government and the institute in which you want to take admission. However, the process of visa and security is difficult. Many times the institutes give admission but the other hurdles are not crossed.
