CBSE 12th Supplementary Exam 2026 datesheet released, exam for all subjects to be held on July 28

Central Board of Secondary Education has released the revised date sheet of class 12th supplementary examination 2026. According to the program issued by the Board’s Controller of Examinations, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, now the supplementary examination of all subjects will be conducted on the same day on 28th July. Earlier this examination was proposed on July 15, but now the board has announced the new exam date by releasing the revised schedule. Students can see the subject wise date sheet by visiting the official website.

Exams for main subjects will be held from 10:30 to 1:30 pm.

The examination to be held on July 28 includes many language and vocational subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Applied Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Physical Education, Home Science, Entrepreneurship, Legal Studies, Biotechnology. The examination of all these subjects will start at 10:30 am and continue till 1:30 pm.

Exam of some subjects will be of 2 hours

CBSE has prescribed an examination of 2 hours for some subjects. These include specialties like Hindustani Music (Vocal and Melodic Instruments), Painting, Applied Art (Commercial Art), Yoga, Early Childhood Care and Education, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Physical Activity Trainer. The examination of these subjects will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 noon. Apart from the main subjects, examinations of many vocational subjects will also be conducted on July 28. These include Retail, Information Technology, Web Application, Automatic, Financial Market Management, Tourism, Beauty and Wellness, Agriculture Food Production, Banking, Marketing, Health Care, Insurance Business Administration, Mass Media Studies, Fashion Studies, Electronics Technology and other subjects.

These rules will have to be followed at the examination center

The board has instructed the students to follow all the guidelines during the examination. No mobile phone, smart watch, calculator or any type of electronic device will be allowed inside the examination centre. Students will have to maintain discipline during the examination and follow all the instructions issued by the board.
