Going to appear for NEET UG exam? Bus travel will remain free, read complete guidelines

NEET UG 2026 exam is one of the biggest medical entrance exams in the country, and this time the administration has made special preparations for it. Keeping in mind the convenience and safety of the students, many important arrangements related to transport, security and health have been implemented for the exam day.

Relief to students from free bus travel

The biggest news for the candidates going to appear for NEET UG 2026 exam is that they will get the facility of free travel in roadways buses on the day of the exam. Its purpose is that no student should miss the exam just because of transport. The administration has instructed the officials of all the districts to run bus services regularly and on time, so that students do not face any problem in reaching the centre.

Exam will be held at 611 centers

The exam will be held on 3rd May. A total of 611 examination centers have been set up across the state, which are located in 27 districts. In cities like Kota, Sikar and Jaipur, where a large number of students come to take the examination, additional arrangements and monitoring will be maintained.

To make the examination fair and transparent, the administration has further strengthened the security arrangements. Police force will be deployed at every examination center and additional surveillance will be done in sensitive areas. Instructions have been given to the officials that there should be no negligence of any kind and the examination should be conducted in a peaceful manner.

Strictness up to 300 meters

Shops like e-Mitra, photo copy and cyber cafes will be kept closed within a radius of 300 meters around the examination centres. This step has been taken to prevent copying and any kind of unfair activities.

Health and basic facilities also available

of summer Season Keeping this in view, necessary facilities will be provided to the students at all the examination centres. This includes drinking water, shade and first aid. Apart from this, nearby hospitals have also been put on alert, where ambulance and medical support will be ready. Things like ORS will also be available so that immediate help can be provided if needed.
