Reports suggest that the maximum basic salary for officers in Bangladesh is 78,000 Taka, while the minimum basic salary is 8,250 Taka. Officers joining government service through the BCS exam get a basic salary of 22,000 Taka. Apart from this, they are provided with house rent and health facilities etc.
