More than 1.80 lakh applications received for DU UG Admission Phase II, trials for ECA quota from tomorrow

Delhi University UG Admission 2024 Update: The second phase of preference choice for admission to undergraduate courses of Delhi University has closed. The simulated rank list will be released today i.e. on August 11. With this, candidates can guess where they stand according to their preference list. Candidates have filled their choices till August 9 through the Common Seat Allocation System. According to PTI news agency, more than 1.80 lakh candidates have registered in the second phase. With this, so far 2.47 lakh candidates have applied for admission in DU’s UG programs.

The list will come today at this time

The simulated rank list for DU UG admission will be released today at 5 pm. This will give the candidates an idea of ​​the admission process and where they have chances of getting admission. Along with this, the window for changing preferences will also open today. After this, candidates can change their preferences if they want.

The first list of seat allotment will be released on 16 August. The list of courses for which candidates have applied the most this time is as follows. The order from the subjects with the highest number of applications to the subjects with the least number of applications is as follows – B.Com, English Honours, Political Science Honours, History Honours, Psychology Honours and Economics Honours.

Trials under ECA quota from tomorrow

Delhi University has also released the schedule for admission under the Extracurricular Activities (ECA) quota. Under this, trials will start from tomorrow i.e. 12th August. The date and place of the trial is different according to the activity. You will have to get its information from the website. For example, trials will start from tomorrow for Indian Classical Dance, Hindi Debate, Indian Classical Light Music and Theatre.

Along with this, trials for candidates who want to take admission under sports quota will start from August 20. They can give trials for their sport in the concerned department between August 20 and 22. First go to your trial centers and find out the schedule and then go for the performance test.
