Preparation for admission in Delhi University begins, admission will be available on the basis of CUET score.

DU Admission 2026: If you have passed 12th and are dreaming of studying in Delhi University, then this news is for you. The university is going to open its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for undergraduate admission very soon. This process will start after the declaration of CUET UG 2026 results.

Including all the 91 colleges of Delhi University, admission will be given on about 70 thousand seats. CUET UG 2026 score is mandatory for getting admission into regular undergraduate courses of the university. Without CUET score, no student will get admission in regular course. Like before, there is no system of direct admission on the basis of 12th marks. This year CUET UG 2026 exam was conducted between 11 May to 31 May 2026. The examination was conducted in 306 cities across the country, in which about 15.6 lakh students had registered.

CSAS portal will be registered

The last date to apply for UG admission is currently 30 June 2026. Therefore, students have been advised to complete all the necessary procedures on time. The admission process will be completely online. First of all, students will have to register on the CSAS portal of DU. After this they will have to select the courses and colleges of their choice. Students will have to fill the list of colleges and courses as per their preference, because seat allotment will be done on this basis.

After this the university will release the seat allotment list in different phases. The student will have to accept the college and course in which he gets the seat. After the seat is confirmed, you will have to go to the concerned college and get the original documents verified.

application fee

Along with this, the application fee for registration has also been fixed. General, OBC and EWS category students will have to pay a fee of Rs 250, while for SC, ST and Disabled (PwBD) category students, the fee has been kept at Rs 100. CUET final answer key released
