CBSE Central Sector Scholarship 2024-25 Registration Begins: CBSE has brought a great opportunity for college and university students to get scholarships. The Central Board of Secondary Education, Department of Higher Education has started registration for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship 2024-25. what is written in the notice

In the notice issued in this regard, CBSE has informed that fresh applications can be filled through the registration started today. Apart from this, the first renewal of the year 2023, the second renewal of the year 2022, the third renewal of the year 2021 and the fourth renewal of the year 2020 can also be done during this period.

Applications for this scholarship have started today i.e. 13 September 2024 and the last date to fill the form is 31 October 2024 New applications have to be made during this time and renewal of applications also has to be done during this time.

Started in 2008

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education started this scholarship in the year 2008. The aim of this scholarship is to help those candidates who are unable to complete their studies due to lack of finance to study and meet their daily expenses. Also know that only those candidates can apply for the scholarship whose family income is less than Rs 4.5 lakh per year. This scheme is for college students.

What is the eligibility

To apply, the age of the candidate should be between 18 and 25 years. Also know that only those candidates can apply who have scored at least 80% or above in class 12th. It is also important that the candidates applying for the scheme are not already availing any other scholarship.

How much amount do you get

Before knowing how much money is received through this scholarship, let us know that under this scheme, scholarships are given to 82000 candidates every year. Half of these i.e. 41000 are boys and half i.e. 41000 are girls.
