All four teams of Duleep Trophy announced, Rohit-Virat not there; Gill-Gaikwad and Abhimanyu-Iyer captains

Duleep Trophy 2024 All Teams: The domestic unit of the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced all four teams for the 2024 Duleep Trophy. Surprisingly, star batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will not play in this domestic tournament, while earlier it was reported that both of them would be selected in the Duleep Trophy. Shubman Gill, Rituraj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer and Abhimanyu Easwaran have got the captaincy in this tournament. Let us tell you that the team has been announced only for the first round.

This time many star players of Team India will be seen in the Duleep Trophy. These include Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Mohammad Siraj, Ishan Kishan, Sarfaraz Khan, Rituraj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Mayank Agarwal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shivam Dubey, Tilak Verma, Avesh Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mukesh Kumar.

Let us tell you that this time BCCI has changed the format of Duleep Trophy. Earlier this domestic tournament was played in zonal format, but now four teams will participate in it. Now four teams named India-A, India-B, India-C and India-D will play in this tournament. All these teams have been announced.

India A team- Shubman Gill (captain), Mayank Agarwal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, KL Rahul, Tilak Verma, Shivam Dubey, Tanush Kotian, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Khalil Ahmed, Avesh Khan, Vidwat Kavarappa, Kumar Kushagra and Shaswat Rawat.

India B team- Abhimanyu Easwaran (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, Mushir Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy*, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal, Mukesh Kumar, Rahul Chahar, R Sai Kishore, Mohit Awasthi, N Jagadeesan (wk).

India C team- Ruturaj Gaikwad (captain), Sai Sudarshan, Rajat Patidar, Abhishek Porel (wicketkeeper), Suryakumar Yadav, B Indrajit, Hrithik Shokeen, Manav Suthar, Umran Malik, Vishak Vijaykumar, Anshul Khamboj, Himanshu Chauhan, Mayank Markande, Aryan Juyal (wicketkeeper), Sandeep Warrier.
