Avishka Fernando, Riyan Parag: The last match of the three-match ODI series is being played between India and Sri Lanka. After batting first, Sri Lanka has given the Indian team a target of 249 runs. However, at one time it seemed that the Sri Lankan team would easily score 280 to 300, but Riyan Parag turned the tables of the match by bowling brilliantly. Avishka Fernando played an important innings of 96 runs for Sri Lanka.
At one point, Sri Lanka’s score was 170 runs for one wicket. Avishka Fernando and Kusal Mendis were at the crease. It seemed that the Sri Lankan team would easily reach a score of 280. However, Fernando missed the century. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 96 runs in 102 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes.
Riyan Parag did not stop here. After this he also dismissed Charith Asalanka and Dunith Vellalaage. Once again Sri Lanka’s middle order faltered and with one wicket at 170, the team could not even reach 250 in 50 overs.
