A study by the Indian Medical Association has revealed that one-third i.e. 35.5% of doctors feel unsafe in night shifts.

The feeling of insecurity is more among doctors aged 20-30 years, most of whom are trainees or PG trainees.

No separate room for night duty

45% doctors told in the survey that they do not have a separate duty room for night duty.
