Health officials said on Wednesday that a case of monkeypox has been confirmed in a 38-year-old man in Malappuram, Kerala. A young man who returned from Dubai was admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Manjeri in Malappuram district of Kerala after showing symptoms of monkeypox. A few days ago, a person who recently returned from Dubai in Malappuram district of Kerala showed symptoms of monkey pox (MPOX). After which the youth has been admitted to the government hospital. After this case in Kerala, this will be the second case of this disease in India after Delhi.
