Dr. AP Singh said that one should never be careless when there is chest pain. When there is chest pain, people often start taking medicines from the chemist, but this should never be done, because it can be life threatening. He said that if there is chest pain, then one should immediately contact a doctor.

How to differentiate between the pain of heart attack and other problems?

Now the question arises that how can we identify from the chest pain whether it is a symptom of heart attack or some other problem? In response to this question, Dr. AP Singh said that when there is shortness of breath along with chest pain and pain is also felt in the jaw, hands and shoulders. Apart from this, if there is a feeling of weakness and shortness of breath, then it is a symptom of heart attack. In such cases, the chest pain starts to be felt till the left hand. At the same time, there is a lot of sweating. In this pain, even pressing the chest does not provide relief.

If you feel burning sensation along with chest pain, then it is a symptom of gas. On the other hand, if you feel heaviness in the chest along with pain, then it indicates a problem in the digestive system. When the pain in the chest starts increasing on touching it, then it means that you are suffering from muscle pain.
