Kolhapur Aurangzeb Row: The atmosphere in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur is currently calm after the uproar over Aurangzeb, but politics has gone out of control. Politics has started regarding this matter and each other is being accused fiercely. Maha Aghadi is seeing political conspiracy of polarization behind the ruckus, then BJP is showing them the mirror. At the same time, Owaisi has also fiercely attacked the Shinde government of Maharashtra regarding this matter. In this matter, the police is also involved in the investigation and is ready to deal with any kind of situation.
Controversy over Aurangzeb
Actually the matter started on June 7, when the video of youths holding Aurangzeb’s photo went viral. In which he is seen praising Aurangzeb. Some of its photographs also came to the fore. After the photo became increasingly viral on social media, Hindu organizations started protesting against it and a bandh was called. During this there was violence and a lot of uproar. People created a lot of nuisance on the roads and arson also took place.
Politics over Kolhapur violence
Now the Kolhapur police is investigating who spoiled the atmosphere on Shivaji’s land by taking the name of Aurangzeb. The arrest of the accused is also being done in this case. However, the fires of hatred that were burning in Kolhapur are now calm. Amidst the tension, the situation is under control, but politics is not taking the name of stopping. The first arrow of statements was fired by Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Uddhav faction said that those who did not get the support of Bajrang Bali, they are now preparing to contest the Maharashtra elections with the help of Aurangzeb.
Sharad Pawar also made allegations
Sanjay Raut’s attack directly on BJP and Maharashtra Eknath Shinde was on the government. Before the BJP’s counter reaction came to the fore, Sharad Pawar from Baramati surrounded the state government on the issue of Kolhapur. Sanjay Raut had alleged that people from outside had committed violence in Kolhapur, Sharad Pawar supported the same. Sharad Pawar said, “Whatever happened in Kolhapur does not suit Maharashtra’s secularism. The people of the state and especially the people of the place where this incident took place, do not have the tendency to take law into their own hands. Standing up. This is my allegation.
Questions on the pattern of violence as well
The attitude of political parties on the latest uproar is strong, because they allege that attempts are being made to polarize votes on the template of such violence and it has become a pattern. There was violence in Kolhapur on March 24 as well, followed by violence in Sambhajinagar on March 29, Mumbai on March 30, Jalgaon on April 3, Akola on May 13, Ahmednagar on May 15 and now again in Kolhapur on June 7. Somewhere there was ruckus during the procession of Ramnavami and somewhere there was violence when people of other religions entered the temple. That is why the question is arising whether this violence is a coincidence or an experiment?
After the Kolhapur violence, the police have put a strict vigil. Police say that the situation is calm now. Four companies of SRPF, 1000 police constables and 150 officers are present at the places of violence. Instructions have been given to deal with any kind of situation.
Answer came from Maharashtra government
In the midst of all these allegations, BJP’s counter attack came to the fore. The Minister of Maharashtra Government replied to the words of Raut and Pawar and also reminded the Congress of the old incidents. Maharashtra government minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said, “The ray of hope for Aurangzeb’s supporters is Sanjay Raut. Riots took place during the Congress rule, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi could not save their lives during the Congress tenure. Wasn’t there intelligence failure then? “
Owaisi also said attack
Asuddin Owaisi also besieged the Shinde government of Maharashtra and the BJP government at the Center regarding the violence over the Aurangzeb dispute in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. In a rally in Hyderabad, Owaisi said that the Kolhapur violence is the failure of the governments. Communal politics is being played in Maharashtra for the 2024 elections.
