Alert of heavy rains in North India, heatwave will return again in Delhi from this date

India Weather Update: The weather has taken a turn in many states of North India, including the country’s capital Delhi, due to which people have got relief from the scorching heat. Indian Meteorological Department (Indian Meteorological DepartmentAccording to ), the weather will remain pleasant in Delhi till June 4, while Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh will see a drop in temperature due to rain.

It rained in some parts of Delhi in the early hours of Wednesday (May 31). The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in entire Delhi and adjoining areas. IMD said, there is every possibility of light to moderate rain in the next few hours in parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. According to the IMD, “Light to moderate rains will also occur in Baraut, Baghpat (UP), Pilani, Bhiwadi, Tijara and Khairthal (Rajasthan) in the next few hours.”

Heavy rain likely in parts of northern India – IMD

The IMD said that the rainfall across India will be at ‘below normal’ level in the month of June. States like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha as well as large parts of northern India are likely to receive above normal rainfall due to which the temperature will drop.

In most parts of Uttarakhand, there was rain and hailstorm with strong winds on Tuesday. Talking about today’s weather, according to IMD, today the maximum temperature in the state can be recorded up to 18 degrees and the minimum temperature can be recorded up to 8 degrees. With this, clouds will be seen thundering with rain in many parts today. Apart from this, the weather is similar in Himachal as well. The weather will remain pleasant in the state till June 5. In most parts, the minimum temperature can be recorded up to 7 degrees with rain. Whereas the maximum will go up to 14 degrees.
