Xiaomi’s shipment dropped by 44 percent

Chinese brand Xiaomi has ruled the smartphone market in India quarter after quarter but in the last quarter the company slipped from its top position. Samsung had become India’s largest selling smartphone brand leaving Xiaomi behind. According to Counterpoint Research, in the first quarter of 2023, there has been a huge decline of 44 percent in the shipment of Xiaomi. The company is now shifting its focus from online channels to offline stores to get back the lost business in India. According to the Economic Times report, Xiaomi is going to recruit several posts like cluster manager and zonal sales manager for its offline stores to regain its position in the market.
