This rebate is sometimes available in tax, sometimes in GST and sometimes in the form of direct rebate. Due to which people save thousands of rupees. But most people are not aware of it, and they pay the full price without taking any discount.

Disabled people come in the first list of this exemption. The government has made a rule for special exemption for the disabled on buying a car. In which they get 18 percent exemption from GST on buying a car, and they can also get up to 50 percent exemption on tax and insurance. And there is complete 100 percent exemption in toll tax levied on the road. To get this exemption, along with the disability certificate, a special GST exemption certificate has to be made from the government, only after that this exemption is available while buying a car.
