The political turmoil caused by the cash scandal that came to light before the Maharashtra elections had not stopped and now the Bitcoin controversy has come to the fore. Former IPS Ravindranath Patil has made sensational allegations. He alleged that the elections are being funded through Bitcoin. In this, Baramati MP Supriya Sule and Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole have been accused.
Supriya Sule said- strategy to spread false information
Supriya Sule has called it a lie and condemnable. He said, “A night before voting, well-known tactics of spreading false information are being resorted to to mislead voters. We have filed a criminal complaint with the ECI and Cyber Crime Department against false allegations of Bitcoin misappropriation .”

Media in-charge of Maharashtra Congress targets BJP
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Congress media chief Atul Londhe said that BJP’s money has been seized and the public is angry with BJP. That is why a false audio clip has been released. Congress will take legal action. The audio recording is fake. These people have committed the fraud of Bitcoin.
The accused IPS has gone to jail in the Bitcoin case.
Former IPS Ravindranath Patil, who has made these allegations related to Bitcoin against Supriya Sule and Nana Patole, had gone to jail in 2022 in a case related to Bitcoin and also spent 14 months in jail. But now he claims that many people were involved in this game.

Many people took Bitcoin from cash – former IPS
Patil said, “In 2018, a Ponzi scheme named Gain Bitcoin was being run. In it, a person named Amit Bhardwaj, who was a resident of Delhi, had made a scheme that if you give one bitcoin, you will get 1.8 bitcoins in 18 months. “Many people took bitcoin in cash, which could not be verified later.”
BJP targeted
BJP has targeted Mahavikas Aghadi and Congress in this matter. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi played an audio clip while holding a press conference. It allegedly contains audio of a conversation between Nana Patole and Police Commissioner Abhitam Gupta. In one audio, audio of Amitabh Gupta and Gaurav Mehta was allegedly played. An alleged chat between Gaurav Mehta and Ravindranath Patil was shown.
