Punjab News: The controversy sparked by another statement by actress and BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal, Kangana Ranaut, is not taking the name of stopping. Now, after commenting on Jarnail Singh, Kangana Ranaut has come under the target of her own people. Punjab BJP leader and former Union Minister of State Som Prakash has given her a strict warning.
Som Prakash, former MP from Hoshiarpur, Punjab, wrote on his x handle, “Kangana Ranaut should refrain from making unnecessary comments against Sant Jarnail Singh and the Sikh community. Such comments hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community. She should remain disciplined. No one should be allowed to disturb the peace in Punjab.”

What did Kangana Ranaut say?
Let us tell you that recently Kangana Ranaut, while discussing her film Emergency in a TV interview, said, “99 percent of the people of Punjab do not believe that Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was a saint. He was a terrorist and if this is so then my film ‘Emergency’ should be allowed to be released.”
Notice issued to Kangana Ranaut
Meanwhile, a Chandigarh court has issued a notice to actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut and others on the basis of a complaint lodged alleging that the film ‘Emergency’ tarnished the image of Sikhs.
